Release: Universal Desktop Converter 2.0 (5.01.110)

Wednesday, October 9th, 2013

Hello Folks,

the new Version of the Universal Desktop Converter is available for download, please note that you have to download the from the website. Also don’t forget that you must use new licenses if you want to deploy the UDC 2 Firmware to devices. See also my older post:

After you downloaded the archive you can extract it and deploy the new IGEL Linux with the included .iso file or you can upgrade/create a USB Memory to install the new IGEL Linux.

But please: Old licenses will not work! Not all older devices are supported anymore! Read the release notes and test devices that you want to install with the UDC in advance to make sure that everything is working fine.

P.S.: A new UDC Deployment Appliance Version 3.1 is also available now, this tool can be used to deploy the UDC in smaller environments via the network.
