Initiate the update<\/p>\n<p>2. The updates for version 4.12.320 are downloaded and installed<\/p>\n<p>3. After an automatic reboot the update to IGEL Linux 5 is installed. No user interaction is required.<\/p>\n<p>4. The next automatic reboot boots up the new IGEL Linux 5 system.<\/p>\n<p>Downgrade path:<\/p>\n<p>ONLY devices that have been initially shipped with IGEL Linux 4.x are capable to downgrade to IGEL Linux 4.x again.<\/p>\n<p>1. Install the firmware 4.x again<\/p>\n<p>2. A reset to factory defaults is recommended.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Comment: Please note, the mentioned Firmware 4.12.320 is coming with this update and is included in the archive!<\/span><\/p>\n<p>From the 4.12.320 Release notes:<\/p>\n<p>Supported devices: UD2-x30 LX,UD3-x31 LX,UD5-x30 LX,UD3-x40 LX,UD5-x40 LX,<br \/>\nUD9-73x LX<\/p>\n<p>Comment: The Upgrade Firmware to IGEL V5 comes with the Firmware Version 5.01.110 but the release note is similar to the 5.01.100 LX Firmware without a fixed password check. Iam not sure if the 5.01.100 will be also replaced but currently this is how it looks like.
