    Hello Michael,

do you plan to implement the buttons for restarting and shutting down a TC via Start Menu in a future release, too?
This feature is hardly missing because when you have both Linux generation devices in your company and have to document a unique workflow to handle the devices this point would be different atm.

    Kind regards,

    • Hello,

icons are already included, just open the setup/profile and browse to System->Registry->Sessions.

Session commands0 is the reboot and commands1 the shutdown icon, change the icon option for theses sessions to /usr/share/icons/hicolor/48×48/actions/igel-reboot.png for the reboot session and to /usr/share/icons/hicolor/48×48/actions/igel-shutdown.png.

There are all icons included, you can also extract the .tar.bz2 archive to your harddisk on your pc to browse for other icons if required.

It is a lot of room for customizations here and i’ve only done the “basic” work to get a similar look and feel for the default firmware but iam sorry to say that i’ve not the time to figure out all possible links (because a lot of people have a different unterstanding what should be default and what not). 🙂

      Cheers
      Michael

    Hi Michael,

this helped – thanks a lot!
Can you give me a hint to position those new menu entries at the lowest position in the start menu?
I already checked “Position: 0” but in my case there are still “Lokales Terminal” and “Lautstärkeregler” below it. THere’s even a seperate Point called “Windowmanager Neustart” below all others…

    Cheers, too!
